My wife, children and I have attended CBC for 20 years! It’s been a tremendous blessing to us. The rock-solid Biblical instruction is priceless. And the encouragement from the CBC family is a treasure. And that’s what CBC is. Family. Folks looking after folks as we together strive to bring glory to the King. I’m so grateful and honored to be part of the CBC family.
My wonderful wife Nancy and I have been married for 30 amazing years. We’ve grown in faith and service together and this has been a great adventure. We are blessed with four wonderful children, all adults now, and our family is growing by marriage: Harry, Eleanore married to James, Caroline married to Dan, and Luke. Family is very precious to us. For the past three years, I have led the CBC Men’s Life Group on Sunday mornings.
For the past nine years, Nancy and I (and our kids before they moved on!) have hosted the monthly Senior Saints luncheon. In the past, I have served on the Missions Commission and as a Trustee, Assistant Treasurer and Deacon.
One of my favorite books of the Bible is Philippians - - - the “Epistle of Joy.” The theme is to live in the joy of the Lord. “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!” (Philippians 4:4). I am a joyful man. And I am a grateful man.
