our deacon Candidates

Claudia Govoni

My family and I have attended Calvary for about 12 years. We love the community and the genuine care for outreach here within the church body and our community.

My husband Rick and I have been married for 17 years and have lived in Derry for the past 7 years. We have 3 amazing kids, Amelia 13 1/2, Gabriel 10 3/4, and Malakai who is 2 3/4.

Calvary has helped my family grow in our faith, trust, and our love in Christ. Showing us that it's okay to be imperfect and not know all the answers, but God does and He is always there for us.

Rob Barr

My wife Hannah invited me to a service and Pastor Talley preaching through Jeremiah. Hearing the story of Jeremiah had a profound impact on my life which rekindled my faith and set the foundation for my spiritual growth. Calvary’s body welcomed me in a way that I had never experienced before. The Holy Spirit drew me in and I experienced genuine interest and care from people that I did not know. I have a group of men walking alongside me in various seasons of my life, and challenge me as my faith continues to mature.

I have been married for 7 years this August to my lovely wife Hannah. We have been blessed with 3 amazing children Zamira, Roman, and Hadassah.

One of my favorite books is James. It has spoken truth into my life understanding that genuine faith requires action and not simply hearing the Word. I appreciate his directness and boldness in his call to action, we are the hands and feet, and we cannot be idle. I look forward to continuing to serve our church and maturing in my faith.

Our Mission COMMISSION candidate

Pete Dupuis

Pete and his family have been members of Calvary since 2018, having previously attended a church in Manchester since he and Julie were married in June 2015.  We were drawn to CBC’s commitment to the teaching of God’s word and out church’s desire to disciple others both locally and internationally.

Pete has three children, daughter Dani from his first marriage and sons Evan and Noah through his marriage to Julie.  He has been on two mission trips to the Dominican Republic, and he and Evan travelled to Albania with CBC in 2022.  He and his family live in Hooksett.
