Assistant Pastor, Family Life & Discipleship Ministries
Background & Family:
I was born in Trenton, NJ in 1941 and was privileged to grow up in a Christian home. My family attended Central Baptist Church in Trenton where I met my wife Linda, whose family also attended there. We dated throughout high school and were married in that same church in 1963.
During our now 46+ years of marriage, God blessed us with 4 children: twin daughters Crista and Susan, 2 sons, Scott and Bradford, and 7 grandchildren.
Education:
- BS Pharmacy, Rutgers University, 1963
- MS Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Rutgers University, 1967
- Ph.D. Analytical Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmaceutics, University of Kansas, 1971
Ministry experience:
Throughout our marriage and during the 28 years spent in industry, Linda and I were involved in lay leadership positions in the churches we attended. God used this time to prepare me to assume the position of Assistant Pastor at Calvary Bible Church when I took an early retirement in 1999, a position I currently still serve in. Linda also serves as the Director of Women’s Ministries at CBC.
My Passion:
My passion is to effectively and accurately teach the truth of the Word of God to adults so that we will be well grounded theologically and fully equipped to live a lifestyle that pleases God and draws others to our Savior, Jesus Christ.
