Jr High
Jr High Youth Group:
We meet in the Youth Center on Friday from 7pm to 9pm for a time of games, snacks, fun, and a lesson that is relevant to today’s teens. This is a great time to hang out with friends from church, make new friends, and even bring your friends that don’t come to church.
Sunday Morning Bible Study:
The Jr and Sr High meet together on Sunday mornings right after the service in the Youth Center for a bible study.
Announcements:
-The Jr High Youth Group is going to Camp Berea for Snow Camp March 2nd – 4th, 2012.
-There will be no Jr High Youth Group on March 2nd because many of us will be having an EPIC weekend at Snow Camp!
-The Jr High and Sr High are going to be partnering up to do an event in May that we are calling the ‘27 Hour Famine’. Beginning now we will be collecting canned food (a list of specific items is listed below) to donate to the local Food Bank here in Derry. Then on May 18-19 will be staying at the church for 27 hours…playing games, hanging out, doing a service project, delivering food to the Food Bank, and not eating! The overnight event will begin at 5pm on the 18th and go until 8pm on the 19th. More details to come soon…
-Sometime in the near future, we’ll be having a talent night…more details to come.
-Talk to Woogy If you are interested in being a Student Leader in the Youth Group.
-ATTN: All permission forms that were filled out for any events/activities that took place in 2011 are void in 2012. Every student will need to have a new one filled out for any trips or events.
