The AWANA Clubs at Calvary Bible Church provides clubs for children from age three to Grade six. Clubs meet on Wednesday nights from 6:30 PM to 8:15 PM. Club for this Calendar year begins on September 3 and continues through May. For other key dates and club events see the club calendar.
The AWANA clubs at Calvary Bible Church reaches over 200 children in our community. Our dedicated staff works closely with clubbers, teaching them God’s Word, helping them memorize their memory verses and joining them in games, making each club night a memorable experience.
Three segments in each club provide start-to-finish adventure in every club meeting!
GAME TIME: Every AWANA Club meeting includes a high-energy Game Time, geared to the age group featuring individual and team activities. Game Time unleashes kids’ natural energy and enthusiasm. And it’s FUN!
HANDBOOK TIME: Using achievement-oriented curriculum materials, geared to the specific age groups, AWANA emphasizes memorization and understanding of key Bible verses. With a trained leader alongside to encourage and guide, clubbers develop a Bible-based view of how to know and serve God. Clubbers are awarded for their achievements as they progress through their handbooks.
COUNCIL TIME: Each club gathers for a Bible message, singing, and announcements of upcoming events. One highlight of Council Time is the presentation of awards for individual handbook progress and team accomplishments.
